Scrapper's Place Challenge

Hola,

Ayer estuve trabajando par de cositas en casa de una amiga y prepare esta tarjeta para el reto de Scrapper's Place. El mismo consistía en usar fieltro y brillo. Me parece una postal bien divertida para regalar a uno de los chicos de mi vida.

I was playing yesterday and made this card for a Challenger hosted by a local scrapbook store. The challenge consisted of using felt and glitter. I find the card very bright and fun.






A la tarde cuando llegue a casa decidí jugar con los pedazos de papel que me sobraron de la tarjeta y prepare estas dos mientras veía televisión con mi esposo. Ambas me gustan mucho pues son bien coloridas y alegres.

When I arrived at home, I decided to play with the scraps from the first card and made this other two which I find super cute.






Ya se esta acabando el fin de semana largo...¡que bien me vino! Ya mismo me tengo que ir a vestir pues vamos al teatro a ver un concierto de navidad, el primer concierto de la época al que voy a ir wohooo!! Espero al regreso poder preparar o por lo menos comenzar a preparar algo para mostrarles mañana.

It’s sad that my long weekend is ending, but I really enjoyed it and that is the most important thing. In a few minutes I have to go and get ready since we are going to our first Christmas concert this year. I hope to have energy to work on a project when we get home tonight.

UN ADORNO ESPCIAL ;) A SPECIAL ORNAMENT

Hola chicas,

Ayer mientras hacia el pavo Miguel se dedico a montar el árbol de navidad. Lo más curioso es que mi árbol tiene un adorno bien peculiar. Es mi gatita Merengue que definitivamente insiste en ser parte de las decoraciones navideñas. Ella se pasa metida en el árbol de navidad e incluso se duerme sus siestas en el mismo. En otra foto aparece mi otra niña Cremora que es bien altanera y no quiso de ninguna manera mirar para la cámara. Aquí conocen a mis dos pelotas peludas que tanto amor les tengo y les muestro mi arbolito de navidad que tanto me encanta tener encendido.

Yesterday while I was cooking my husband Miguel decorated our Christmas tree. The funny thing about my tree is that it has a peculiar ornament which is my cat Merengue. She spends a lot of time hanging in the tree and even takes her naps there. On the other photo you can see my other cat Cremora who didn’t wanted to look at the camera at any cost. So now you know my two furry daughters whom I love and spoil like crazy.

A Dios por todas las bendiciones que me ha dado. Un hogar feliz con una familia que se preocupa por mi y un buen esposo que me ama y me acompaña en la adultez. Por mis amistades pues ellas me sostienen y me escuchan uando lo necesito, por mi trabajo, por mi casa, por mis dos gatas rechonchas y por otras mil cosas que Dios me da a diario.

También le doy gracias por que tengo este santo lío en mi cuarto de SB, no sé como logré hacer esta tarjeta en esa mesa hoy pero ese requerete significa que Dios me ha dado todo lo que necesito y un poco más para comprarme cositas que me diviertan y me ayuden a relajarme y por eso le doy gracias.



Esta tarjetita la hice para practicar con mi nueva Pen Tablet que me auto regalé de navidades adelantadas. Digo, la compré adelantada porque la idea era jugar con mis tarjetas de navidad. El word art me encantó cuando lo vi en este blog, una chica super talentosa y lo tenía que tratar. Es bien sencilla, pero me encantó como quedó.

CHRISTMAS IN THE OLD COUNTRY CHALLENGE

Hola,

El sábado hice esta tarjetita para el challenge de navidad en el Viejo mundo de Moxie Fab. Como no tenia un stamp ni una imagen para la Cricut de una Matryushka me puse a buscar imágenes en el Internet hasta que di con una que me era útil. Lo que hice fue imprimirla en papel de diseño y fui haciendo paper piecing de cada parte de la muñequita. Lo único que deje de la imagen original fue la carita ya que la encontré súper linda. Después conseguí varias imágenes más y con una de ellas logre hacer un stamp digital así que ya tengo mis muñecas para futuras ocasiones. Espero que les guste!

I made this card for the Christmas in the old country Challenge at Moxie Fab. I didn’t have a Matryushka doll image I could use so I Google for images and found one I loved and serve me as a digital stamp. I printed it on design paper and paper pierce it. The only thing I left intact was the doll face which I find so cute!

Hoy hice estar tarjetita para el challenge de Moxie Fab. No es exactamente mi estilo, pero me quise aventurar con esta combinacion de colores que aunque encuentro linda casi nunca utilizo. Ahora voy a ver TV con Miguel un rato antes de la Pelea de Cotto.

Teminé esta tarjetita para el reto de esta semana del blog Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog y para la misma utilizé el sketch del reto #23 del blog Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Aunque el hada madrina no es de navidad, ya que estoy hacienda mis tarjetas con tiempo, decidí adaptarla y así no salirme del tema. Cada día me están gustando más los stamps digitales...espero que sigan sacando mayor variedad de los mismos.





I just finished this card for this week challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. I also used the sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Even though this is not a Christmas stamp, I decided to adapt it and keep working with my holiday cards. I am starting to really like the digital stamps, I hope they keep adding more cute images.
